Who we are

mananverse.com is run by Manan Verse, a proprietorship of Rekha Basudevan ("Manan Verse", "we", "us"). Our postal address is TO_FILL: postal address in India.

By using this website or booking a session, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Manan Verse.

Who can use it

You must be 18 years or older. We ask you to confirm your age before you book.

You must use your own email address (or, when phone sign-in opens, your own Indian mobile number) and give true information.

What we offer, and what we do not

• Darpan: a free self-reflection tool. It runs in your browser.
• Disha: a 1:1 career counselling session of 30 minutes.
• Shanti (later): emotional-support conversations with someone who listens.

Our sessions give guidance. We do not promise you a job, a loan, admission or any income.

We are not a medical or psychiatric service. We do not diagnose or treat any illness, and Shanti is not therapy.

We are not an emergency service. If you or someone near you is in danger, call 112. For free mental health support at any hour, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416.

Your counsellor

Counsellors may use a professional name (a pen name) to protect their privacy. For example, your counsellor may appear as "Kiran".

A pen name does not change the service you get. We never make up qualifications, photos or reviews for it.

Booking and price

A session lasts 30 minutes and costs ₹500, paid online through Razorpay. You see the price before you pay.

An unpaid slot is held for 10 minutes and then released. You can have one upcoming booking at a time.

Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Missed sessions

If you miss 2 sessions within 30 days without cancelling, you will not be able to book for 30 days.

Using the service respectfully

• Do not abuse, threaten or harass the counsellor or anyone else.
• Do not give false information or use someone else's email address or number.
• Do not record the session, by audio, video or screenshot. We do not record sessions, and we ask the same of you.
• Do not try to contact the counsellor outside the booked session.
• Do not misuse the site, for example with bots, spam or attempts to break in.

If you break these rules, we may end a session, cancel bookings and block your email address or phone number. In serious cases we may report the matter to the authorities.

Our content

The name Manan Verse, the logo, the text, the Darpan tool and the design of this site belong to us. You may use them for your own personal use. Please do not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission.

Your action plan is yours to keep and use.

Our responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Career decisions and their results are finally yours to make.

Where the law allows, our total liability for any one session is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as network or power failures at your end.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, courts at TO_FILL: city for jurisdiction will have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the new date on this page, and tell you before any important change affects a booking you have already made. Last updated: 2026-11-03.
